House Rules

These house rules apply to all guests, participants, speakers, and the event organizers themselves.

A ticket must be purchased to attend our events. By purchasing a ticket, participants agree to abide by these house rules. Companions of individuals with a severe disability ID card marked with a “B” do not need a ticket.

Photography and filming at the events are generally permitted, provided that all individuals recognizable in the resulting images give their consent. Any images taken without the consent of the individuals depicted must be deleted immediately. Recording of presentations is prohibited. Recordings will be published by C3VOC on https://media.ccc.de during or after the events.

Mutual consideration and respect for all participants and guests, the speakers, the venue, and the surrounding area are essential for a pleasant experience and the smooth running of the events. We do not tolerate any harassment or disparagement of or by those present.

In particular, we ask all participants to refrain from wearing uniforms and combat gear in order to protect people who have been traumatized by war or state violence.

Individuals who experience harassment may contact the event organizers at any time. The relevant members of the event organizing committee (or individuals designated by them) will be available on-site, by phone, and by email. All communications will be treated confidentially and will not be discussed with third parties without explicit consent.

If an affected person wishes to have the matter clarified by the event organizers, the situation in question will be documented to the best of our ability from the perspective of all parties involved. Once the sequence of events has been clarified as thoroughly as possible, further actions will be discussed, if they are still necessary at that point. The event organizers reserve the right to initiate discussions, ask participants to keep their distance from one another, or, if necessary, exclude individuals from the event.

Unfortunately, the event organizers cannot offer mediation for purely personal disputes.
